About

The Montreal Nature Conservation Project is a registered non-profit,
operating under the Quebec enterprise number 1180016306.

Our Vision

A future where all residents of the Montreal area can continue to enjoy preserved natural environments within a short distance from the city, regardless of income or mobility.

Our Mission

To acquire and conserve undeveloped land near Montreal, protect it in perpetuity, and provide open, low-impact public access that benefits both people and ecosystems.

We aim to purchase natural ecosystems and conserve them for perpetuity. The mechanisms we use to achieve this include collecting donations and applying for government grants.

Meet the Team

The Montréal Nature Conservation Project is a family-founded non-profit organization. Over five generations in Montréal, we have witnessed firsthand the effects of urban sprawl and the gradual loss of public access to natural spaces. We are now taking action to ensure that future generations can enjoy the same access to nature.
